3v3 Basketball Tournament

There are 2 categories for the 3v3 Basketball Competition:

- Juniors Comp (Ages 8-14)

- Seniors Comp (Ages 15+)

A team may ONLY include players in the same age bracket.

E.g. No 15 year olds in a Junior team, no 14 year olds in a senior team.

You may have 1 substitute player per team. However, they may ONLY be used if there is

an injury that causes another team member to retire from the rest of the competition. 

All decisions made by our referees on the day are FINAL,

and may not be contested after each game has concluded.

The Major Prize for the Juniors Comp is $150, with smaller prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.

The Major Prize for the Seniors Comp is $300, with smaller prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.

The $10 admission fee for your team is payable to the 'Potter's House

Christian Fellowship Newcastle' on the day, by cash or EFTPOS.

I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge that participation in basketball involves inherent risks including but not limited to physical injury, accidents, and possible permanent disability or death. I agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless 'Potters House Christian Fellowship Newcastle', its organisers, volunteers, and sponsors from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by me while participating in the basketball competition, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.  I understand and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the basketball competition, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, and the use of sports equipment. I certify that I am physically fit and capable of participating in this activity.  I certify that I have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation in the basketball competition. In the event of an emergency, I authorise the organisers to seek medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.  By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver and release of liability. I certify that I am at least 18 years old or have obtained parental/guardian consent if under 18.
